The 2024-2025 guild year getaway was held on March 20 – 223, 2025 at the Best Western Plus Portsmouth Hotel and Suites, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Thirty-seven people attended.
During the getaway, Susan Michael of Dragonfly Fiber Art gave a talk on enhancing panels. She also gave each attendee several patterns and written ideas for enhancing panels.
Merle made Quilt of Valor block kits and gave a prize for the person who made the most Quilt of Valor blocks.
Paula lead the games by asking questions like — who is still on their first bobbin? Who brought wine?
Attendees played Left- right- center with three fat quarters. There were three tables playing and the winner at each table got to keep the fat quarters.
One of the attendees has a milestone birthday and we celebrated with cake.
The Roundabout Diner catered breakfast each day for the getaway.
There was a mystery quilt challenge during the getaway. At least three people participated. Here is the finished top.
