Set up
Many hands contributed to setting up the show the evening before the show opened. The Senior Center transformed into a beautiful setting for this biennial show.
Honoring Deceased Guild Members
Unfortunately, our guild lost four active and former members since our last show. We honored the memory of Dottie Macomber, Sally Nimblett, Pam Strout, and Ruth Ruggieri with a display.
Cafe
Baked goods that members made were offered for sale to guests along with beverages. Left over baked goods were donated to a local food bank.
Penny Baskets
Members assembled more than 20 raffle baskets. Themes varied from lotto tickets to fabric to notions to food. The video shows the baskets up close.
Vendors
Thank you to the four vendors at the show. They were Bits and Pieces Quilt Shop, Mary Roses Quilts and Treasures, Woodturnings by Cynthia, and Nana Nancy’s Sew Unique.
Boutique
During the quilt show members could sell their creations. This video gives a sample of the creativity of our members.
Demonstrations
Members conducted demonstrations during the show. Demonstrations included binding, rulers, trash to treasures, applique, and wool work.
Admission Area
Our admission area had two raffles and a chance for people to learn more about our guild.
