Monthly guild meeting. Penelope Young, a fiber artist, will tell us about making art quilts. She uses many techniques to dye, paint and print her fabrics. Her art pieces are highly embellished with thread, beads, buttons and found objects. Fat Quarter: Batiks
Marge Tucker, Guest Curator, will conduct a program on improv and abstraction in antique quilts on Saturday, March 9, 11 am. The program will take place in the Genre Gallery.
