If you are interested in joining, please email our membership chair with your name, address and phone number. You may mail in the application but do not send in dues payments unless the membership chair lets you know that we have an opening. If we do not have an opening at present, we can place your name on a waiting list. [email protected]
Meetings: Our meetings are held monthly on the first Wednesday evening of the month. Our meeting page gives details on our meetings.
Name Badge: The Anvil Block is the official logo of the guild, representing the history of Saugus as the site of the first ironworks in America and the location of the Saugus Ironworks National Historic Site. Below is the link for directions on how to make your own Anvil Block nametag to wear to guild meetings.
Pillowcase Pattern: The guild encourages quilting and sewing for various charitable causes. We regularly make pillowcases for various organizations, including the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, the Department of Children and Families (DCF), and the Home for Little Wanderers. Our pillowcases for DCF are made for the December holidays and are stuffed with various age-appropriate toys, school supplies, and necessities. You may make a pillowcase for this project using winter or Christmas fabrics. One file below contains instructions which include a decorative flange between the case’s cuff and body, the other contains instructions without the decorative flange.

Donation quilts: Each member is urged to donate one lap size or baby quilt each year. Directions for a suggested quilt pattern is that this link, but any quilt in any size, pattern or technique is welcome and will comfort some recipient.

Market Place: Guild members can offer quilting supplies and services for sale on the Marketplace web page.
Using SignUp Genius: The Guild occasionally uses the computer application called SignUp Genius to request volunteers for various committees and activities. For more information click here.
