Below you will find two different sets of instructions for the charity pillowcases we make; one has a decorative
strip between the cuff and the body of the case, and the other has no decorative strip- your choice! Either one
makes a nice pillowcase with no exposed raw edges!
At the 2019 Getaway, Margie & Gretchen Berkowitch and Ann Kelly-Maguire were making quilts from a Thimbleberries
pattern called the Treasures Quilt. You make it in rows of squares and then cut it up and resew it together and the result is
a quilt where the squares are on point! Below are the directions for several variations using various numbers of squares.
Within each are the sizes that result if you use different sized squares. Janice Meade was making a version from Jenny
Doan of the Missouri Star Quilt Company that shows how to make a square version of this on-point quilt.
Thanks to Janice for sharing the link to Jenny Doan's version and to Anne Smith for calculating the various size rectangular
quilts, compiling this information, and getting it to me to post for your use and enjoyment.
