Vermont Quilt Festival
New England’s Largest and Oldest Quilt Event
A Top Ten Vermont Chamber Summer Event

June 25-27

Treat yourself to wonderful classes with some of the best teachers in the country. It's not too late to sign up.
Just visit the Festival website at www.vqf.org to download the class brochure and to see what classes are still
available. While at the Festival, enjoy over 500 beautiful contemporary and antique quilts on display. Several
special exhibits, including antique quilts from the Pilgrim/Roy collection, World War II quilts, and the Nancy
Halpern retrospective, will inspire and delight you. The Contest Quilt exhibit showcases more quilts than ever
in varying styles, techniques and colors.

In your spare time, take part in the free vendor demonstrations and gallery talks, shop the merchants mall
and the VQF Boutique for the latest fabrics, notions, supplies, and more. And if you would like your antique
quilt appraised, be sure to bring it for the Saturday appraisals.

The evening lectures with Gerald Roy, on Friday and Karen Combs, on Saturday, promise to be fun and after
the lectures, door prizes galore will be awarded to many lucky quilters.

Come in time for the opening on Thursday evening, June 24 with the Awards Ceremony honoring the winning
contest quilts and their makers at 6:30pm in the Blue Ribbon Pavilion. The always festive Champagne and
Chocolate Preview gives you the chance to be among the first to see the exhibits and to shop the merchants
mall. The Preview begins at 7:30pm; tickets are $12 at the door.

The show is open Friday-Saturday, 9am-6pm and Sunday, 9am-3pm; admission is $12, seniors $10, children
under 14 free. All at the air-conditioned Champlain Valley Exposition, 105 Pearl Street, Essex Junction. For
